Conclusions:
In the present test the particle size of Ammonium formate was determined using sieve analysis. The mesh wire of the different sieves used had a diameter of 0.5 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.00 mm, 1.6 mm, and 2.0 mm. The content retained by each sieve was at 0.5 mm 0.7%, at 0.8 mm 2.3%, at 1.00 mm 16%, at 1.6 mm 42% and at 2.00 mm 39.3%. Based on these results it is considered that the test item has median diameter of > 1.6 mm.

Description of key information

Particle size analysis using sieving method according to ISO 3310 -1, mean mass diameter > 1.6 mm with a distribution of 42.0% of a 100 g sample.
