Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Temp.:
20°C
Parameter:
dynamic viscosity (in mPa s)
Value:
53.7
Temp.:
40°C
Parameter:
dynamic viscosity (in mPa s)
Value:
19.6
Conclusions:
Analyses with rheometer showed that, at 20°C and 40°C, under an increased shear stress the product seems not to change significantly the viscosity value (shear thickening), indicating that is a Newtonian fluid in the range tested. In these case an extrapolation of the mean viscosity value was performed to better characterize the product: 53.7 mPa*s at 20°C (RSD% = 1.3) and 19.6 mPa*s at 40°C (RSD% = 2.6).
Executive summary:

The viscosity of the test item “TRISODIUM (2S)-2.6-BIS(3-CARBOXYLATOPROPANAMIDO) HEXANOATE”: has been evaluated experimentally according to test guideline OECD 114.

Analyses with rheometer showed that, at 20°C and 40°C, under an increased shear stress the product seems not to change significantly the viscosity value (shear thickening), indicating that is a Newtonian fluid in the range tested.
