Handling and storage
Handling: Es ist für sichere Ab-/Umfüll- und Dosiereinrichtungen zu
sorgen, die den Kontakt mit dem Stoff verhindern. Beim
Umgang mit dem Stoff, insbesondere beim Auftreten von
Stäuben oder Dämpfen/Aerosolen, ist für wirksame Absaugung
zu sorgen. Die in der chemischen Industrie üblichen
Schutzmaßnahmen sind zu ergreifen. Tragen von Staubmasken,
z.B. eine filtrierende Halbmaske P1, Schutzbrille, z.B.
Korbbrille, Schutzhandschuhe, z.B. Polyethylen- bzw.
Polypropyleneinweghandschuhe und Schutzkleideng, z.B.
normale Arbeitskleidung. Staub nicht einatmen. Bei
ungenügender Absaugung oder längerer Einwirkung ist
Atemschutz zu tragen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe des Arbeitsbereiches sollten
Augenbrausen bereitgestellt werden und ihr Standort
auffällig gekennzeichnet werden. Wegen der potentiellen
Staubexplosionsgefahr sollten bei möglicher Staubentwicklung
potentielle Zündquellen aus dem Arbeitsbereich entfernt
werden. Des weitern sollten Maßnahmen gegen elektrostatische
Aufladungen getroffen werden.

Ensure safe filling/transferring and metering equipment to
avoid contact with the substance. When handling the
substance, especially in case of dusts or vapours/aerosols
ensure good extraction equipment. Take precautionary
measures usual in chemical industry. Wear dust masks (e.g. a
filtering half-mask P1), goggles (e.g. tightly fitting
goggles), gloves (e.g. PE or PP one way gloves) and
protective clothing(e.g. work clothing). Do not breathe
dust. In case of insufficient extraction or prolonged
exposure the wearing of a respiratory protection is
recommended. Near to the working area eye-wash stations must
be provided and marked clearly. Due to the potential to
cause a dust explosion potential ignition sources should be
taken away from the range of operation. Precautionary
measures against static discharges must be taken.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Die Verbrennung trockener Farbstoffe ist möglich. Es
entstehen die bei der Verbrennung von kohlenstoff-,
stickstoff- und schwefelhaltigen organischen Verbindungen
üblichen Abgase. Je nach Menge des zu verbrennenden
Farbstoffes kann daher eine spezielle Rauchgasaufbereitung
erforderlich sein.
Farbstoffabläufe sind in der Regel zu verdünnt, um eine
Verbrennung sinnvoll zu machen.

The incineration of dry dye is possible. The usual wastes
gases after incineration of carbon-, nitrogen- and
sulphur-containing organic compounds will occur.
Due to the amount of dye a special flue gas examination is
required. The dye outlets are as a rule too diluted, to make
an incineration useful.

Verweildauer nicht biologisch abbaubar. In biologischen
Kläranlagen können die relativ geringen Restfarbstoffanteile

Klärschlamm eliminiert werden.

were not aerob biodegradable. In a biological waste-water
treatment plant the small amount of dye residues can be
eliminated through precipitation and adsorption at sewage
sludge.
