yes
Decomp. temp.:
ca. 375.51 °C
Remarks on result:
not determinable
Conclusions:
As the test item decomposes the determination of boiling point of Pentaerythritol tetrabenzoate is technically not feasible.
Executive summary:

The determination of the melting / boiling point was determined via DSC (differential scanning calorimetry) In both DSC measurements one endothermic event was detected. In accordance to the pre-test the first endothermic event can be identified as melting point, evaluated with the onset function. In the further process a turbulent baseline was observed which probably supposed to be beginning of decomposition. In the pre-test for boiling point a colour change was observed, which was a sign of decomposition also the colour change of the test item in the crucible after DSC measurement.

The beginning of decomposition was evaluated with the event marker function of the DSC software.

As the test item decomposes the determination of the boiling point of Pentaerythritol tetrabenzoate is technically not feasible.
