Results and discussion

Melting / freezing point
Key result
Melting / freezing pt.:
ca. 0 °C
Atm. press.:
ca. 1 013 hPa
Decomposition:
no
Sublimation:
no
Remarks on result:
other: pour point
Remarks:
The pour point, the lowest temeprature at which the test material barely flows is at approximately 0 °C.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Measurements were made with differential scanning calorimetry in a temperature range between -100 and + 60 °C, but there was no possibility to determine a fixed melting point because the substance congealed amorphous and glassy. In the DSC diagrams there was only a glas transition at approximately -50 °C.

The pour point, the lowest temperature at which the testing material barely flows was at approx. 0 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
A pour point was determined at approximately 0 °C.
