Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
Skin contact: Immediately flush skin with copious amounts of water for at least 15 mins while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Eyes contact: call a physician. Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers. Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 mins.
Ingestion: Call a physician. Wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel.
In case of reactions described in hazards identification or other severe, immediate or persisting symptoms seek medical advice and call the nearest poison center. Show the label and the SDS.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or appropriate foam. Water spray. Avoid spill into drains, surface and groundwater and soil. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes. Emits toxic fumes under the fire conditions. Risk of dust explosion cannot be excluded.
Dangerous combustion products: COx, NOx, HF and other noxious gases or vapours in case of incomplete combustion.
Accidental release measures
Switch off electrical equipment and any other sources of ignition. Evacuate area. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, appropriate boots and heavy rubber gloves.
Collect residues manually, by wiping with a small quantity of water/ detergent solution, place in a bag and hold for wast disposal. Avoid raising dust/ mist.
ventilate area and wash spill site with water/ detergent solution after material pick up is complete. Keep away from drains, surface- and groundwater and soil.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Avoid inhalation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure. Avoid use with incompatible materials. Recommended for quality reasons. Handle protected from humidity.
Conditions for safe storage / incompatibilities: Use container tightly closet and resistant.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Handling of small quantities in fume hood recommended. Mechanical exhaust, safety shower and eye bath required.
Hand protection - Compatible chemical-resistant gloves.
Skin protection - Wear protective suit.
Eye protection - Wear protective chemical safety goggles.
Respiratory protection - Protecting mask (filter P3), if sole means of protection.
Stability and reactivity
The substance is stable when kept in recommended normal storage conditions.
Conditions to avoid
- humidity
Incompatible materials - strong oxidazing agents
Hazardous decomposition products - COx, NOx, HF and other substances in case of incomplete decomposition. hazardous polymerization will not occur.
Disposal considerations
Incinerate in an approved facility.
Observe all regional, national, federal state and local enviromental regulations.
