First-aid measures

General advice:
Note precautions for self-protection of first-aider. Remove contaminated clothing. Take affected persons out of the danger area and lay down.

If inhaled:
If inhaled, remove to fresh air.

On skin contact:
Wash with plenty cold water and soap. Remove and launder contaminated clothing.

On contact with eyes:
Wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open.

On ingestion:
Make victim drink plenty of water. Consult doctor if feeling unwell. Do not induce vomiting.

Note to physician:
Treat according to symptoms.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:
Water mist, dry extinguishing media, foam, carbon dioxide (CO2)

Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons:
For safety reasons do not use full water jet.

Specific Hazards:
Formation of harmful fumes. Hazardous combustion products: (CO, CO2).

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:
Fire fighters should be equipped with self-contained breathing apparatus to prevent contact with reaction products.

Do not allow to enter drains, sewerage system. Cover drains. Collect, bind and pump of spills.
Methods for cleaning up:
Contain with adsorbent material and dispose. Avoid generation of dust during cleaning and disposal.

Ensure thorough ventilation of stores and work areas. If handling large quantities without ventilation use respiratory protection.

The usual precautions for the handling with chemicals must be observed. Keep away from food and beverage. Wash hands before breaks and after finishing work. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
