Description of key information
Bromacil exhibited slight acute toxicity to Daphnia magna under static unaerated test conditions during a 48-hour exposure period.
The 48-hour EC50 was 119 mg/L.
Next to this a study was investigated to observe the influence of Bromacil on growth and reproduction of Lemna gibba.
The EC25 is 23.6 μg a.i./L (95% confidence limits 15.9 - 34.9 μg a.i./L), the EC50 is 45.1 μg a.i./L (95% confidence limits 34.0 - 60.0 μg a.i./L) and the NOEC is 32.4 µg a.i./L.
The EC50 value of 0.0451 mg/L and the NOEC value of 0.0324 mg/L leads to the classification Aquatic Acute 1 (H400) and Aquatic Chronic 1 (H410).
