First-aid measures
General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.
After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms
persist, consult a physician.
After swallowing: If symptoms persist consult physician.
Eyes: Dust may irritate eyes mechanically.
Possible routes of intake: Intake by swallowing or inhalation of dust.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
No specific antidote. Symptomatic treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents: Water spray, Fire-extinguishing powder, Carbon dioxide.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire, the following can be released:
Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbondioxide (CO2).
Advice for firefighters, Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.
Chemical resistant protective suit. Under the protective suit a fire protective suit according to EN 469 should be applied.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Wear protective clothing.
Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol. Avoid formation of dust.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow undiluted product or large quantities of it to reach ground water, water course or sewage system.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically. If formation of dust cannot be avoided use respiratory filter device.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Fill only in dedicated and assigned containers. Keep containers tightly sealed.
Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in a dry location, keep away from humidity.Store in a cool location.
Store separated from oxidising agents.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Additional information about design of technical facilities: Take care of sufficient ventilation. Avoid formation of dust.
This product is exclusively dedicated for the application as isolated and transported intermediate under strictly controlled conditions according to Article 18 of Regulation EC 1907/2006 (REACH-Regulation).
Respiratory protection: In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer exposure use self-contained respiratory protective device.
Protection of hands: Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation.
The following materials are known from experience to be suitable for protection against undissolved solids: rubber.
Eye protection: Safety glasses
Body protection: Protective work clothing.
Limitation and supervision of exposure into
the environment: Avoid spillage of product into the environment.
If possible use this material only in closed systems and devices. In case of open plant systems (sampling devices, filling and discharging,
cleansing works etc.) use local exhaust and collecting trays. Follow emission limit values. Measures in case of unwanted emissions should be established.
Risk management measures:
General protective and hygienic measures have to be observed. Handling and use of this material/formulation only under controlled conditions in closed systems.
Employees who use this material/formulation must be trained and demonstrably instructed about possible risks for man and environment.
Measures for prevention of hazards in case of unwanted leakage shall be implemented.
Stability and reactivity
Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used according to specifications.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No dangerous reactions known.
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods
Recommendation: Must be specially treated adhering to official regulations.Must not be disposed together with household garbage.
Do not allow product to reach sewage system. If possible recovery or recycling.
Empty contaminated packagings thoroughly. They may be recycled after thorough and proper cleaning.
Packagings that may not be cleaned are to be disposed of in the same manner as the product.
