Based on the acute oral discriminating dose > 10000 mg/kg bw of Macrolex Rot B and the NOAELs of 1000 mg/kg bw in the Repeated Dose 28 Day Oral Toxicity Study in Rodents and the Reproduction/ Developmental Toxicity Screening Test, no hazard is identified for systemic toxicity.

Macrolex Rot B is not irritating/corrosive to the skin and not irritating to the eyes. Based on the available phys-chem data and the LLNA results of the test item in acetone/olive oil, Macrolex Rot B is considered to exert no skin sensitizing potential. Therefore, for local effects no hazard is identified.
