Description of key information

The auto-flammability potential of the substance was determined in a K2 GLP study performed according to EU Method A.15 (Weissenfeld, 2007). The substance was concluded to be auto-flammable under the conditions of the test and showed a relative self-ignition temperature at about 330°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
330 °C

Additional information

Ignition of T002675 was observed at 335°C within 15 seconds after 0.16 mL of the substance was transferred into the vessel. T002675 was then determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 330°C (down-rounded) according to the test criteria laid down in the guideline EU Method A.15.
