Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The viscosity of TS-ED 532 was measured by a method which is instrument independent. The viscosity of TS-ED 532 wass measured in a temperature interval between 0 and 100 °C. It was documented that TS-ED 532 shows Newtonian behaviour at 0, 50 and 100 °C. Based on the overall behaviour of the samples and their chemical composition, it is reasonable to assume that TS-ED 532 also shows Newtonian behaviour at all other temperatures between 0 and 100 °C. The viscosity of TS-ED 532 is approximately 6 mPas at 100 °C, 28 mPas at 50 °C and 640 mPas at 0 °C. The viscosity at 20 °C was 123 mPas, estimated from the curve and based on three readings.

Additional information

The viscosity of TS-ED 532 has been measured by a method which is instrument independent. The measurement has documented the viscosity of TS-ED 532 in a temperature interval between 100 and 0°C. Furthermore, it has been documented that TS-ED 532 shows Newtonian behaviour at 0, 50 and 100°C. Based on the overall behaviour of the samples and their chemical composition, it is reasonable to assume that TS-ED 532 also shows Newtonian behaviour at all other temperatures between 0 and 100°C.
