Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

Aquatic acute toxicity

Daphnia magna: The test item is insoluble (< 0.1 mg/L, representing the LOD ) in the Daphnia test medium (ISO medium), hence indicating that toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is unlikely to occur.

7 d, ErC50 (Lemna gibba, on the basis of frond number): > limit of solubility (0.33 mg/L; loading rate: 30 mg/L

7 d, NOEC (Lemna gibba, on tha basis of frond number): limit of solubility (0.33 mg/L; loading rate: 30 mg/L)

Biodegradation

Not readily biodegradable: 14 % after 28 days (OECD 301 D)

Classification according to CLP

The available data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. Test item related effects have either not been seen up to its solubility limit (aquatic plants) or are unlikely to occur due to its insolubility in the test medium (aquatic invertebrates). In combination with the low Pow, the substance is considered not to be classified as hazardous for aquatic toxicity under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the twelfth time in Regulation (EU) 2019/521.
