Description of key information

In accordance with Column 2, specific rules for adaptation from Column 1, of Annex VII of the REACH Regulation, the oxidising properties study, required in section 7.13., does not need to be conducted based on its chemical structure. Zirconium oxide, hafnium and ytterbium doped an inorganic oxide in which the inorganic elements Zr, Yb and Hf are in their highest possible oxidation states [Zr(+4), Yb(+3), Hf(+4)]. Therefore, the substance is not sensitive to oxygen release.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
