Conclusions:
The test substance induced acute immobilisation of Daphnia magna at nominal concentrations tested after 48 hours of exposure. The 48-h EC50 value was estimated to be 1.8 mg/L (0.77 to 4.0 mg/L 95% Confidence Limits). The 48-h NOEC and 48-h LOEC were reported as 0.77 mg/L and 4.0 mg/L, respectively.

Description of key information

The key study was a semi-static acute invertebrate toxicity test on the effects of the substance on the freshwater invertebrate Daphnia magna following OECD Guideline 202. The test substance induced acute immobilisation of Daphnia magna after 48 hours of exposure. The 48-h EC50 value was reported as 1.8 mg/L.
