Remark:The relevant (≥ 1 μg/min) and reproducible weight loss was ob-served above 160 °C. Because of the non-GLP pre-tests, the main test was done between 160 °C and 220 °C.

Measurement:The test item was added to the glass plate. The plate was placed in the TGA instrument. The weight loss of the test item was measured continuously as a function of time at different temperatures at con-stant nitrogen flow.

Start temperature: 160 °C

Temperature increase: 10 °C with a ramp of 10 °C/min

Isothermal interval: 5 min

End temperature: 220 °C

The isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method was applied for the determination of the vapour pressure of Ethoxylated phenol phosphate. A value of the vapour pressure of the test item was determined using the data obtained between 160 °C and 220 °C. The vapour pressure of the test item was calculated (mean of three determinations) to: 1.03 x 10-5 Pa at 20 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the test item at 20 °C was determined to be 1.03 x 10-5 Pa at 20 °C. using the Q50 thermogravimetric analyser (TGA). The test was performed according to European Community (EC), EC No. 761/2009, Part A: Methods for the Determination of Physico-Chemical Properties, Guideline A.4: “Vapour Pressure”, Official Journal of the European Union No. L220, August 24, 2009.
