Description of key information
La toxicité de la substance à enregistrer (acétylacétonate de fer) envers les organismes aquatiques a été estimées par le biais d'une approche par références croisées ("read-across") à partir des données existantes pour la partie organique (acétylacétone ou 2,4 -pentanedione) et inorganique (fer) de la substance à enregistrer. D’autre part, une dérogation à l’obligation d’essais de toxicité envers les organismes aquatique pour la partie inorganique (fer) de la substance à enregistrer a été invoquée en vertu des restrictions de la colonne 2 des annexes VII, VIII et IX, et de l’annexe XI partie 1 et 2, le fer (ions ferriques Fe3+) n’étant pas considéré comme toxique pour les organismes aquatiques de manière intrinsèque.
