Materials and methods

Test guideline
Qualifier:
equivalent or similar to guideline
Guideline:
other: See below for further details
Principles of method if other than guideline:
A 0.1g sample of 99% test item (lot 5082123) was taken and introduced to on-site, calibrated melting point apparatus. The substance is a liquid at room temperature, so the machine was set to cool in order to freeze the material prior to measurement. Once frozen, the substance is held at several degrees below its freezing point prior to re-heating and measuring melting point.
GLP compliance:
not specified
Other quality assurance:
other: No details reported
Type of method:
method to determine freezing temperature
