Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
15th August to 1st September 2016
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 104 (Vapour Pressure Curve)
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
other: Grain-Watson estimation
Temp.:
20 °C
Vapour pressure:
<= 0.001 atm
Temp.:
50 °C
Vapour pressure:
<= 0.005 atm

The experimentally determined vapour pressure of Imwitor 375 at 20 °C is not in the recommended range of 1 to 1000 mbar for DSC-measurements. Therefore a Grain-Watson estimation procedure in accordance with OECD 104 was used.

Conclusions:
The test item lmwitor 375 has a vapour pressure of ≤6.5 x 10^-4 atm (≤6.5 x 10^1 Pa; ≤6.5 x 10^-1 mbar) at 20 °C and of ≤4.7 x 10^-3 atm (≤4.8 x 10^2 Pa; ≤4.8 mbar) at 50 °C
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test substance was determined according to the Grain-Watson estimation method, in line with OECD test guideline 104.

The test item lmwitor 375 has a vapour pressure of ≤6.5 x 10^-4 atm (≤6.5 x 10^1 Pa; ≤6.5 x 10^-1 mbar) at 20 °C and of ≤4.7 x 10^-3 atm (≤4.8 x 10^2 Pa; ≤4.8 mbar) at 50 °C.
