Density was measured according to method ASTM D4052. A small volume (approximately 0.7 mL) of liquid sample is introduced into an oscillating sample tube and the change in oscillating frequency caused by the change in the mass of the tube is used in conjunction with calibration data to determine the density of the sample. The relative density of test material has been determined to be 1.0479 kg/l at 25 °C.
