First-aid measures
General advice: Move out of dangerous area. Show safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
If inhaled: Consult a physician after significant exposure. If unconscious, place in recovery position and seek medical advice.
In case of skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with soap and plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
In case of eye contact: Flush eyes with water as a precaution. Remove contact lenses. Protect unharmed eye. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/ attention.
If swallowed: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Take victim immediately to hospital.
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Suitable extinguishing media: Use water fog, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide (CO2) to extinguish flames
Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet
SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE:
Combustibility: Not classified as flammable or combustible, but will combust if ignited.
Hazardous combustion products: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and unburned hydrocarbons (smoke).
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Protective equipment and precautions for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.Exposure to decomposition products may be a hazard to health.
Fire Fighting Instructions: In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Advice for emergency responders: Ensure adequate ventilation. Use personal protective equipment. Material can create slippery conditions.
Advice for non-emergency personnel: Avoid contact with spilled material. Do not touch or walk through spilled material.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Retain and dispose of contaminated wash water. Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.
METHODS FOR CLEANING UP
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Large Spills: Dyke far ahead of liquid spill for later recovery and disposal. Recover by pumping or with suitable absorbent
Report spills as required to appropriate authorities. Seek the advice of a specialist before using dispersants. Dispose of according to local regulations. In the event of a spill or accidental release, notify relevant authorities in accordance with all applicable regulations. Material will float on water, use containment booms as a barrier to protect shorelines.
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly while observing environmental regulations.
Handling and storage
HANDLING
Do not breathe vapours or spray mist. Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. May cause sensitisation of susceptible persons by skin contact. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area. Dispose of rinse water in accordance with local and national regulations. Handle and open container with care. Normal measures for preventive fire protection.
STORAGE
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Observe label precautions.
No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropriate engineering controls: No special requirements under ordinary conditions of use and with adequate ventilation.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Respiratory protection: In the case of vapour formation use a respirator with an approved filter. The applicable European standard can be found in EN 140, EN 137, EN 143, EN 14387.
Hand protection: Polyvinyl alcohol or nitrile- butyl-rubber gloves Before removing gloves clean them with soap and water. Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Eye/face protection: Eye wash bottle with pure water Tightly fitting safety goggles Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location. The applicable European standard can be found in EN 166.
Skin and body protection: Impervious clothing Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place. The applicable European standard can be found in EN 14605.
ADVICE ON GENERAL OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENIE
When using do not eat or drink. When using do not smoke. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE CONTROLS / General advice:
Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Retain and dispose of contaminated wash water. Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use
Chemical stability: Stable under recommended storage conditions
Hazardous reactions: No hazards to be specially mentioned
Conditions to avoid: Excessive heat
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products: No decomposition if stored normally
Disposal considerations
PRODUCT
Do not dispose of waste into sewer. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemical or used container. Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant. Disposal recommendations based on material as supplied, Disposal must be in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and material characteristics at time of disposal
For the safety of persons conducting disposal, recycling or reclamation activities, refer to the information in Exposure control and personal protection.
EMPTY CONTAINERS
Empty Container Warning (where applicable): Empty containers may contain residue and can be dangerous. Do not attempt to refill or clean containers without proper instructions. Empty drums should be completely drained and safely stored until appropriately reconditioned or disposed. Empty containers should be taken for recycling, recovery, or disposal through suitably qualified or licensed contractor and in accordance with governmental regulations. DO NOT PRESSURISE, CUT, WELD, BRAZE, SOLDER, DRILL, GRIND, OR EXPOSE SUCH CONTAINERS TO HEAT, FLAME, SPARKS, STATIC ELECTRICITY, OR OTHER SOURCES OF IGNITION. THEY MAY EXPLODE AND CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.
