Description of key information

Skin:

Based on the pH of 1.2 (see reference 4.20-1), the test item is classified as corrosive to the skin (H314). According to REACH Annex VII, 8.1 Column 2, no test for skin irritation/corrosion is necessary.

Eye:

Based on the pH of 1.2 (see reference 4.20-1), the test item is classified as corrosive to the eye (H318). According to REACH Annex VII, 8.2 Column 2, no test for severe eye damages/eye irritation is necessary.

Classification, Labeling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

The available data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

Based on the pH of 1.2 (see reference 4.20-1), the test item should be considered to be classified as skin corrosive (H314) and severly eye damaging (H318) under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the tenth time in Regulation (EU) No 2017/776.
