Conclusion on classification

Trans-cinnamic acid is readily biodegradable and has a Log Kow of < 4. When the environmental fate parameters are considered alongside the results of the acute daphnia and algal growth studies the criteria for classification is not met (Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008, Annex I, Section 4.1, Table 4.1.0). No classification is proposed.
