Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

EC50 48h Daphnia Magna > 1000 mg/l loading rate, corresponding to > 92 mg/l measured concentration.

EC50 48h Daphnia Magna > 100 mg/l has been chosen as representative value since no effect has been observed up to the measured concentration of 92 mg/l.

Additional information

The multi-constituent substance " Reaction mass of dodecane-1-thiol and tridodecyl trithiophosphite" was tested in acute immobilisation test on Daphnia magna. The test was performed according to method OECD TG 202 and the result was EC50 48h Daphnia Magna > 1000 mg/l loading rate, corresponding to > 92 mg/l measured concentration. According to ECHA guidance R7b for slightly soluble substance for which no effect at concentration below 100 mg/l was observed, the PNEC should be calculated on limit value of solubility in the medium. For this substance the limit of solubility in the medium is expected to be similar to the solubility of the substance in water (i.e. 96.3 mg/l) approximated to 100 mg/l.EC50 48h Daphnia Magna > 100 mg/l has been chosen as representative value since no effect has been observed up to the measured concentration of 92 mg/l.
