Description of key information

The determination of the vapour pressure of magnesium methanolate is technically not feasible, the endpoint is waived.

Magnesium methanolate will be decomposed during heating at any pressure and vapour pressure is determined by the decomposition product methanol.

The vapour pressure of the decomposition product methanol is 169.27 hPa at 25°C and this value is used in the chemical safety assessment.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
170 hPa
at the temperature of:
25 °C
