Additional information

The short-term toxicity to freshwater fish was determined in a study according to DIN guideline 38412 -L15 (BASF, 1989). In this study groups of fish (Leuciscus idus; 10 per concentration) were exposed to nominal test concentrations of 0 (control), 5000 and 10000 mg/L for 96 hours under static conditions. Test concentrations were not analytical verified and undissolved test substance was visible on the water surface. Observations for mortalities and symptoms of toxicity were made at 1, 4, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours after exposure. After the 96 -h exposure period no mortality and symptoms were observed. Based on these findings the 96 -h LC50 value was determined to be > 10000 mg/L.
