Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex X, terrestrial toxicity testing does not need to be conducted as direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. Chlorendic acid shows a low adsorptive (log Koc = 0.92) as well as a bioaccumulative (log Kow = 1.39) potential. Furthermore the fugacity study, (IUCLID 5.4.3) shows that chlorendic acid undergoes significant degradation. Hence, a relevant distribution into soil and a considerable exposure to the soil compartment is not expected.
