First-aid measures

After inhalation: Remove from exposure, lie down Move to fresh air.

After skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water removing all contaminated

clothes and shoes.

After eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15

minutes.

After ingestion: Rinse mouth with water provided the person is conscious. Consult a physician in

case of unrest, seek for medical treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media

Suitable: Water spray, carbon dioxide, Dry chemical, Chemical foam.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Dust can form an explosive mixture in

air.

Advice for fire fighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand,

MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear suitable

protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Ensure adequate ventilation.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow material to be released in the environment without

proper governmental permit. Prevent from entering sewers or drains.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning: Sweep with sawdust, sand or vermiculite

and place in closed containers for disposal. Ventilate area and wash spill with plenty of water after

pickup completed. Dispose of according to local and regional authority requirements.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Avoid contact with skin and eyes, do not breathe dust, do not

breathe vapors or spray mist Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated

area from incompatible substances. Keep container tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Control parameters: This product, as supplied, does not contain any hazardous materials with

occupational exposure limits established by the region specific regulatory bodies.

Exposure controls:

Breathing equipment: (a) for low concentrations and / or short time exposure (EN 143 or 149).

(b) For high concentrations and / or repeated or prolonged exposure wear self-contained breathing

apparatus.

Hand Protection: Wear chemical resistant gloves (EN 374)

Eye protection: Wear goggles (EN 166)

Body protection: Must be adapted to the level of activity and exposure (lab coat, antistatic shoes,

overalls…)

Additional information: Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling. Wash hands and face for time

break and after work. Remove all soiled and contaminated clothing immediately. Wash contaminated

clothes before reuse. Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.

Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions of temperatures and pressure.

Conditions to avoid: Incompatible materials.

Waste treatment methods

Substance disposal: Do not be disposed in house hold garbage. Do not allow product to reach

sewage system. Contact a licensed professional waste disposal service to dispose of this material.

Dirty packaging disposal: Empty containers should be taken for local recycling, recovery or waste

disposal.
