A small response at the retention time of the test substance was detected in the chromatogram of the pretreated sample from the blank water mixture. The maximum contribution to the samples taken at 24, 48 and 72 hours was 2.1% based on peak area.

The water solubility of Amiloride Compound 5 at 20°C was determined to be 2.4 g/L using the flask method (GLP-compliant study in accordance with EC A.6, OECD 105 and OPPTS 830.7840). The pH was 2.8.
