Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test item has no oxidising properties.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising

Additional information

Oxidising gases

The test item is a solid at ambient conditions. This hazard class is only applicable for gases. Thus, the substance was not considered for classification as oxidising gas.

Oxidising liquid

The test item is a solid at ambient conditions. This hazard class is only applicable for liquids. Thus, the substance was not considered for classification as oxidising liquid.

Oxidising solid

In accordance with column 2 Annex VII section 7.13 Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH), the test on oxidising properties was waived as the chemical structure of the test item does not contain any functional groups quoted in 'Manual of Tests and Criteria' (fifth revised edition, appendix 6, chapter 6) which may indicate oxidizing properties. The test item was thus considered not oxidising. No experimental determination was carried out.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the chemical structure and taking into account the provisions laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, the substance is not considered to be classified for oxidising properties.
