Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental data on the target substance was available for short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates. Available data on Similar Substance 02 was used in a read across purpose. Details on read across procedure are reported in section 13.

Acute toxicity of the test substance to daphnia magna was determined in a 48-hour static test according to the OECD guideline 202.

Nominal concentrations tested were 100 %, 50 %, 25 %, 12.5 % and 6.25 % of saturated solution obtained from a nominal loading of 100 mg test substance/l. A negative control was also used.

Measured concentrations at time 0 h and 48 h after start of exposure were below the lowest calibration level. At 25 mg/l, immobilisation of 18/20 daphnids was seen; at higher concentrations, all daphnids were immobile. An EC50 (48h) value of 18.6 mg/l was determined.
