Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The organic carbon-normalized sorption coefficient for soil and sediment; i.e. Koc, of the substance cannot be calculated by using a QSAR, as it is an UVCB.

The HPLC method in accordance with OECD 121 was performed. The HPLC chromatogram of the test solution showed one broad band. The log Koc was estimated to be 1.83.

The substance is surface active and therefore the result obtained with the HPLC method can only be taken as an indicative value. The study is therefore considered to be reliable with restrictions.

Because of the above and as the substance contains many constituents, the environmental risk assessment will be performed using dual worst case Koc values.
