US EPA AOPWIN software (v1.92) estimated an Overall Hydroxyl Radical Reaction Rate Constant of 17.2086 E-12 cm3/molecule-sec at 25 degrees C, and an atmospheric degradation half-life of 7.459 hours, for ethoxypropyl acetate.

In an assessment of ready biodegradability by activated sludge, ethoxypropyl acetate attained 89% degradation after 15 days and complete degradation after 28 days.  It may, therefore, be considered to be readily biodegradable.

US EPA BCFWIN software (v2.17) generated an estimated BCF of 3.162 for ethoxypropyl acetate based on the measured log Kow of 0.76.

In a study of sorption behaviour using high performance liquid chromatography, ethoxypropyl acetate was estimated to have a log10Koc value of 1.0.

EPA HENRYWIN software (v3.10) estimated a Henry's Law Constant of 4.201E-006 atm-m3/mole at 25 degrees C for ethoxypropyl acetate.

EPA EPIWIN software (v3.20) Level III Fugacity Model predicted the following distribution of ethoxypropyl acetate in environmental media:

Air - 1.88%

Water - 45.3%

Soil - 52.7%

Sediment - 0.0874%
