Results and discussion

Melting / freezing point
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
327 °C

Any other information on results incl. tables

The first (exothermal) decomposition reaction shows an onset at 327.25 °C (rounded value of 327°C taken here as decomposition temperature) and a peak at 328.45 °C in the DTA, the reaction energy of the decomposition being -180 kJ/kg. A second (exothermal) decomposition reaction shows an onset at 387.61 °C and a peak at 399.00 °C, the reaction energy of this reaction being -320 kJ/kg.

No discernible endothermal reaction (melting) was seen in the DTA.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Decomposition starts without discernible melting, the decomposition temperature is 310 °C.

Executive summary:

The DTA shows decomposition starting at 310 °C without discernible melting prior to decomposition.
