Additional information

No studies are available in which the toxicity of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, undecyl glycoside (CAS 98283-67-1) to terrestrial organisms was tested. However, a study was conducted with D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, C10-16-alkyl glycosides resulting in no toxicity to the earthworm Eisenia sp. and terrestrial plants with the highest concentration tested (654 mg/kg). Furthermore, D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, undecyl glycoside (CAS 98283-67-1) is “readily biodegradable” and has a low to moderate potential for adsorption to soil. Therefore, toxic effects of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, undecyl glycoside (CAS 98283-67-1) to terrestrial arthropods are unlikely to occur and no test is required. The PNEC for the risk assessment was calculated from the available data.
