Description of key information

The substance is not readily biodegradable (according to OECD criteria).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The biodegradability of the substance in water was investigated in a ready biodegradability study according to OECD TG 301F (Manometric Respirometry Test; Exxon, 1996; report no. 96MRL225) using domestic activated sludge as inoculum. After the 28 -day incubation period 24.1% of the test substance was biodegraded (O2 consumption). Based on these findings, the substance is concluded to be not readily biodegradable (according to OECD criteria).
