Conclusions:
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the explosiveness study (required in section 7.11) does not need to be conducted as the known constituents of lime oil (D-limonene, Y-terpinene, Citral, Myrcine B, Terpinolene, Cineoles (1,4- and 1,8-), A-terpineol, 5-Geranoxy-7-methoxycoumarin, A-bergamotene, A-pinene, A-terpinene, Furocoumarins (group of 5- and 8-alkoxy substituted psoralenes), B-pinene, Beta bisabolene, Farnesene, Neryl acetate, P-cymene and Sabinene) do not contain chemical groups indicating explosive properties (as mentioned in the ECHA endpoint specific guidance).
