Description of key information

The substance is a solid and appears as white to light beige crystals. It has a melting point of 132.3 °C and decomposes > 150 °C. The density was found to be 1.087 at 20 °C and the vapour pressure is 0.095 Pa at 20°C. The log Pow of the test item is 2.94 and the water solubility is 141 ± 1.6 mg/L at 20°C and pH 7.6. The substance does not have oxidising properties, however, the test item could be ignited applying a flame as ignition source and burned strongly. The lowest burning time over a distance of 100 mm was 43 s and it could not be stopped by a wetted zone. Therefore, the test item is to be classified as a flammable substance.
