Additional information

The substance meets all the screening criteria for the classification. No test are available on the substance in itself nevertheless one test conducted on a similar substance (Pigmentblau 1755, EC n. 403-210-4; Information from migrated NONS file, as per Article 25(3) request, permission to refer granted by ECHA, Notification n. 89-04-0171-02)was considered for the evaluation of the explosive properties. The test conducted according to 84/449/EWG, A.14 (Body responsible: BASF AG 67056 LUDWIGSHAFEN) on the Similar Substance shows that the test item is not Explosive under the influence of flame, no more sensitive to shock and friction than m-dinitrobenzene.

Furthermore this substance is produced and used in Europe for several years and transported from outside Europe at various temperature and stoking conditions. Evidences connected to the long experience in handling of the molecule confirm that no explosive properties have never been observed and reported up to now in the usual conditions of production, stock, transport and use.

In conclusion, considering all the available information the substance can be considerednon explosive, according to the Directive 67/548 (DSD) and the CLP Regulation (EC) n. 1272/2008
