- Specific details on test material used for the study:
- None
- Interpretation of results:
- GHS criteria not met
- Conclusions:
- The test substance was considered to be not highly flammable as it did not show ignition during the preliminary screening test.
- Executive summary:
- A study, according to EU Method A.10, was performed in order to determine the flammability of FAT 20063/D TE. A preliminary screening test was performed to determine if, on ignition by a gas flame, propagation by burning with flame or smoldering occurs. The test item was formed into an unbroken strip or powder train about 250 mm long. If propagation over 200 mm of the train occurs within a specified time, then a full test program to determine the burning rate was to be carried out. The test item was heated with the flame of a teclu burner. Glowing was observed during heating. No ignition occurred within two minutes. Hence the burning rate determination was not required. In summary, the test substance was considered to be not highly flammable as it did not show ignition during the preliminary screening test.
Reference
Safety Pre-Test
A small amount of the test item was heated on a magnesia groove with a gas burner. Glowing was observed. The test item showed no signs of ignition.

Justification for classification or non-classification
As the substance was considered to be not highly flammable in a flammability study, it does not warrant classification according to CLP (Regulation 1272/2008) criteria.
