Conclusions:
After microscopic observation of the growth of daphnid for 48hrs (qualitative analysis), we calculated the percentage of immobilization of Daphina magna activity at 0, 24, and 48 hr (quantitative analysis). The percentage of immobility of Daphnia magna for 48hrs treated concentration of the test substance, plotting the dose-response curve. And by linear interpolation calculation, EC50 of the test substance was greater than 100 mg/L.

Additional information

In pre-test, Daphnia magna that were treated with the concentration of test substance of 100 mg/L with acute immobilization. Thus, the concentration of test substance was 100 mg/L for the highest dosage. The pH values of control and test groups was less than ±1.5, and the concentration of dissolved oxygen at the end of the test was more than 3 mg/L in control and test groups. The results of this test came up to quality requirements, so that the data in this test were valid. According to OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test), EC50 of the test substance was greater than 100 mg/L.
