Description of key information

Under the conditions of the study, the test material was found to have a pour density of 0.4573 g/mL and a tap density of 0.6271 g/mL at a temperature of 20.3 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The density of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline OECD 109.

The pour and tap densities of the test material were determined using a top loading balance and a graduated measuring cylinder. The pour density was calculated using the weight of the sample and its volume; the pour density was determined in the same way after dropping the graduated cylinder 50 times in order to pack the test material.
