In accordance with Section 2, Annex XI of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, it is considered scientifically justified to omit the flash point study required under section 7.9 of Annex VII on the basis that testing is not technically possible as a consequence of the properties of the substance. Flash point is a measure of the flammability of a liquid; testing has therefore been omitted as it is not technically possible to conduct the study on a solid.
