Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C and 25°C was determined to be <1.3x10 -8 and <2.9x10 -8 respectively.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The vaopur pressure of the test substance was determined by the isothermal TGA effusion method. The analysis was performed in a GLP facility in accordance with OECD, EU and EPA test guidance for the determination of the vapour pressure.

The evapouration rate of the test substance was low, making measurement of the test substance at 20 and 25°C difficult.

In measurements performed with the test substance, the weight loss was lower than the weight loss of the reference substance benzo(ghi)perylene. According to this the vapour pressure of the test substance is smaller than the vapour pressure of this reference substance.

The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C and 25°C was therefore determined to be <1.3x10-8and <2.9x10-8respectively.
