Additional information

In a Ready Biodegradability study (OECD 301 B), Chiguard 5530 was assessed over a 28 day period. The test material was observed a biodegradation of 12% after 28 days. These results indicate that Chiguard 5530 is not readily biodegradable under conditions of the test.

Simulation test in water and sediment and further more biodegradation tests are not required at the tonnage level of below 100 tonns per annual year according to the data requirement of REACH.
