Additional information

A solution of BCI in a mineral medium was inoculated and incubated for 28d under aerobic conditions. During this period the ready biodegradability is determined.

BCI showed

0% degradation after 2 days

3% degradation after 8 and 10 days

6% degradation after 14 days

7% degradation after 16 days

9% degradation after 20 and 22 days

11% degradation after 24 days

12% degradation after 28 days

The reference compounnd showed 85% degradation after 14 days.
