Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

According to section 7.3 Column 2 Annex VII of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, a study for boiling point does not need to be conduced for substances which decomposes before boiling.
Decomposition temperature: ~ 420°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

During a thermal stablitiy analysis conducted according to OECD 113 (1981) an exothermic effect (indication on decomposition) was observed at ~420°C using a closed glass crucible and a weight loss of ~92% (indication on boiling) was observed using an open glass crucible. It is assumed that the substance may decompose before boiling. According to section 7.3 Column 2 Annex VII of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, a study for boiling point does not need to be conduced for substances which decomposes before boiling.
