General information:
Personal protection for the First Aider.
Instantly remove any clothing soiled by the product.
Position and transport in a stable posture on side.
Seek medical treatment.

After inhalation:
Supply fresh air. Seek immediate medical advice.

After skin contact:
Wash with Polyethylene glycol and ethanol (2:1). Then wash thoroughly with water and soap. Seek medical advice.

After eye contact:
Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Seek medical advice.

After swallowing:
Rinse mouth and then drink plenty of water. Seek immediate medical advice.

Information for doctor:
Therapeutically measures: basic help, decontamination, symptomatice treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents:
Use fire fighting measures that suit the environment. The product is not flammable.

Protective equipment: No special measures required.

Additional Information: Collect contaminated fire fighting water seperately. It must not enter drains.

Accidental release measures

Person-related safety precautions:
Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.
Wear minimum protective clothing.
Measures for environmental protection: Do not allow to enter drainage system, surface or ground water.
Measures for cleaning/collecting:
Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust).

This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates. Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each Manufacturing site.
Written confirmation of application of Strictly Controlled Conditions has been received from every affected Distributor and Downstream Manufacturer/User of the Registrant’s intermediate.

The usual precautionary measures should be adhered to general rules for handling chemicals. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Protection of hands: Only use chemical-protective gloves with CE-labelling of category III (EN 374)
