Description of key information

The substance is not considered as a flammable solid.

The substance has no pyrophoric properties and  does not liberate flammable gases on contact with water.

The substance is not a self-heating substance or mixture.

According to the result of the test performed in accordance with the test method described in the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, Test N .1 the test substance is not considered as a flammable solid.

Based on chemical structure the substance has no pyrophoric properties and  does not liberate flammable gases on contact with water.

The substance or mixture does not need to be classified as the substance is a solid with a melting point less than 160 °C.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008:

Based on the chemical structure and taking into account the provisions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the sixth time in Regulation (EC) No 605/2014., the substance is not considered to be classified as flammable, flammable in contact with water, pyrophoric or self heating substance.
