Justification:

Based on the available data it can be concluded that Distillates (shale oil) light fraction does not fulfil the P(vP) or B(vB) criterion and hence can not be either a PBT or a vPvB.


The aquatic chronic NOEC > 0.01 mg/L confirms that the substance would not fulfil the T-criterion regarding the ecotoxicity, however the substance is self-classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic for reproduction (Category 1B) according to Regulation EC No 1272/2008 and therefore the Annex XIII T-criterion is fulfilled.
